Red Sox Fall To Tigers In A Slug Fest, 9-8

The Red Sox drop a high scoring affair to the Detroit Tigers, 9-8 as the reliable Steven Wright gives up four runs in just the first two innings.

Tonight, the Red Sox (55-42) and knuckleballer, Steven Wright, are set for a Fenway faceoff as the Detroit Tigers (52-48) attempt to win the series by pulling out a win in game two with the help of starting arm, Mike Pelfrey.

With the Red Sox holding two immensely powerful trade chips, would it be a smart move to trade two potential future All-Stars for a current Cy Young contender?

The Red Sox (53-39) defeat the struggling Giants (57-38) in a nail biter after blowing an 8-0 lead.

Tonight the Boston Red Sox are set to send out their newly acquire arm, Drew Pomeranz (2.47, 8-7), in an interleague game matchup against the San Francisco Giants and Matt Cain (5.34, 1-5).

John Farrell has been under intense criticism after two incredibly poor perfromances during the 2014 and 2015 season, but now the Red Sox are just two games out of first place and at one point this season were the best team in baseball.

The Red Sox desperatley need another strong arm in the rotation, and Jackie Bradley Junior may be the best available trade piece to make that happen.

The Red Sox (45-38) drop a very winnable game tonight as Price settles, but Kimbrel implodes in the 9th allowing the Rangers (53-32) to blow open what was a one run game.

Tonight the Red Sox (45-37) send out their 31 million dollar man, David Price (8-5, 4.74) to take on the Texas Rangers (52-32) and A.J. Griffin (3-0, 2.93) as they attempt to gain more ground on the AL East leading Baltimore Orioles.

Tonight, the struggling Boston Red Sox (41-35) look to get back on track as they send Rick Porcello to the mound against the Tampa Bay Rays (32-43) and their ace, Chris Archer.
