Jess Thomas

Jess Thomas is the Red Sox Beat Team Manager and a member of the Boston Celtics beat team for CLNS Radio. Jess is a co-host on CLNS Radio's Red Sox Beat Podcast as well as a contributor to Celtics Postgame Shows.

Jess also currently writes for the Stow/Bolton Independents and The Item. 

Jess currently is an archiver/digitizer at the official home of Boston Celtics telecasts, Comcast Sports Net New England.

Previously, Jess was General Manager for Framingham State University's radio station, WJDM 91.3 FM, as well as sports editor for FSU's newspaper, the Gatepost.

Prior to joining CLNS Radio, Jess was an intern at CSNNE as well as WCVB.

Jess is a 2014 graduate of Framingham State University, with a degree in Communication Arts.

As Jerry Remy sat next to D.O., unable to speak, the end arrived for the legendary 15-year Red Sox broadcaster, cheered by the team.

The Boston Red Sox made their coaching decisions that Red Sox Nation has been wondering about for the 2016 season, and most of it is staying the same. 

The New York Yankees (86-70) needed a win and a laundry list of opponents to lose to clinch a playoff spot on Monday night, but the Boston Red Sox (76-80) made sure that none of that mattered, as Boston defeated New York 5-1 in the Bronx in the first game of a four game set. 

Evan Turner went in depth on Celtics Media Day on Friday about the potential of a second career as an Uber driver when asked. He entertained the media while detailing his plan.

Boston Celtics Training Camp Roster Finalized

The Boston Celtics finalized its training camp roster on Friday after signing four players who will attempt to make the squad. The roster currently stands at 20 players.

A day after Mike Hazen was named new General Manager of the Red Sox under Dave Dombrowski, the Pres was back at it again on Friday. 

The Boston Red Sox (72-80) held a 2-0 lead through half of the game, but the Tampa Bay Rays (75-78) scored three runs in the sixth to take a lead they would not reliquinsh, as they picked up a 4-2 victory and three out of four from the Sox on the road. 

There is plenty of news lighting up the interwebs before the Boston Red Sox (72-79) take on the Tampa Bay Rays (74-78) in the fourth game of a four-game series at Fenway Park on Thursday. 

On David Ortiz night at Fenway Park, Xander Bogaerts stole the show with an 8th inning go-ahead grand slam off Brandon Gomes, leading the Boston Red Sox (72-77) to an 8-7 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays (72-78)

After being on a tear of late, the Boston Red Sox (68-75) offense has been unable to get it going the last two games, getting only 2 runs in 13 innings Sunday and getting shut out for the first time in nearly two months against the Baltimore Orioles (70-73) on Monday.
