The Boston Celtics (6-4) took advantage of a lazy and disinterested Houston Rockets (4-7) squad on Monday night, with a second straight road win over a supposed Western Conference powerhouse. They won the ballgame by a final of 111-95, and it really wasn't even that close, with Boston leading by as many as 29 in the fourth.

Boston Red Sox first/third baseman Travis Shaw lasted one game of Puerto Rican winter ball, as he will miss the rest of winter ball with a shoulder impingement, according to President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski.

Boston Celtics' point guard Marcus Smart has missed the last two games due to a toe sprain, and it appears he will need a little more time before returning to game action.

It was a back and forth ending, but the Indiana Pacers (2-3) squeaked by the Boston Celtics (1-3), 100-98, in Boston's first road game of the season. The Celtics have now lost 3 games in a row.

The Boston Celtics did not reach extensions with big men Jared Sullinger and Tyler Zeller in time this season, so they will both be on the market next summer when free agency begins.

The Boston Red Sox Beat Team on CLNS Radio will be looking at the 2016 Red Sox team position by position. We will recap what happened last season, highlight the contract situations of players, and predict what the roster will look like heading into next season. You can read the last article about first base here and the previous article about catchers here. In this edition, second base is the position at hand.

With the Celtics season beginning on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers, final roster moves had to be made and as expected, Perry Jones III and Corey Walden were the odd men out.

Over two months later, Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell's cancer is in remission.

The Boston Celtics (1-0 preseason) kicked off the NBA's Global Games with a 124-91 bashing of Olimpia Milano in Italy on Tuesday.
