Boston Celtics Beat with guests Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders & Brian Mahoney of the NBA Associated Press     Your browser doesn't support audio. Please download the file: audio/mpeg ALL. MOST....THERE! Just a few more games left in this dreadful season for the Boston Celtics.  But hosts Rich Conte and Dr. Andre Snellings of Rotowire are looking ahead. Rich and Dr. Snellings will be joined by Alex Kennedy, NBA Insider for BasketballInsiders.com.  What are the futures of many key Celtics players such as their starting backcourt of Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley? What direction will the team take this off-season? Is Kevin Love a possibility? And how about help elsewhere, such as a rim protecting center in Omer Asik? One of the most connected members of the NBA media, Kennedy should give the Celtics Beat audience the answers.  Whether they are answers they want to hear is another story. And while the Celtics horrific season is coming to an end, the real NBA season is just picking up with the NBA Playoffs right around the corner.  Brian Mahoney of the Associated Press follows the league as close as anyone.  Will Miami come out on top again? And what about the MVP race? In what has become nothing more than another LeBron James yearly coronation, will this be the year someone else finally wins it? Kevin Durant, perhaps? We'll ask Brian what his MVP ballot is. Rich and Dre cap off the show by going Around the NBA in 5. Tune in this Saturday at 2 PM ET/11 AM PT to Celtics Beat.  Heard exclusively on CLNS Radio. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/clnsradio/2014/04/12/celtics-beat-w-alex-kennedy-brian-mahoney-41214

Celtics Beat w/ Ian Eagle 4/5/14

Voice of the Brooklyn Nets as well as CBS Sports' Ian Eagle to join Boston Celtics Beat     Your browser doesn't support audio. Please download the file: audio/mpeg FINALLY: Final Four Weekend.  Spring is now here...for real, but all eyes are on the college basketball stage.  Danny Ainge’s included. Might as well get someone on Celtics Beat who know what they’re talking about.  Hosts Larry H. Russell and Rotowire’s Dr. Andre Snellings will be joined by Ian Eagle of CBS Sports and the YES Network.  Ian has been providing play-by-play for CBS for the NCAA Tournament, as well as college basketball throughout the season.  What has he seen so far? Is this tournament Florida’s to lose? What does he think of the draft prospects of some of the top rated players? Ian is also the voice of the Brooklyn Nets for the YES Network, so I’m sure LHR and Dre may nudge Ian for a few words regarding Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. LHR and Dr. Andre Snellings also touch on Larry’s three-part series that has been running on CLNSRadio.com all weekend: The Worst Members of the Boston Celtics ...Ever.  With this painful Celtics season nearing its conclusion, well why don’t we antagonize ourselves even more? And of course, the Celtics Beat staple: Around the NBA in 5 Tune in this Saturday, April 5th 2 PM ET/11 AM PT to Celtics Beat.  Heard exclusively on CLNS Radio. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/clnsradio/2014/04/05/celtics-beat-w-ian-eagle-4514-1 Check Out Sports Podcasts at Blog Talk Radio with CLNSRadio on BlogTalkRadio
Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix & CBS Boston's Brian Robb to join Boston Celtics Beat Your browser doesn't support audio. Please download the file: audio/mpeg   Can't bear to watch the Boston Celtics anymore, but still in dire need of your Celtics fix? No problem. Celtics Beat, the best Celtics podcast on the web, has you covered. In just 60 minutes.   Ty Ray and Rotowire's Dr. Andre Snellings are in the house, and they got company. Good company.   Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix will be the first to stop by. The same old burning question: Rajon Rondo's future in Boston - what is it? We're hearing all sorts of things from all different outlets of the media, and Chris has proven to be one of the most connected guys covering the NBA. What is he hearing?   The guys will also talk about the NCAA tournament and its draft prospects with Chris - who will be writing mock drafts for sportsillustrated.com up until that marquee day in June.   Once again, we have more. Editor-in-chief of ESPN's True Hoop Blog, Celtics Hub, as well as CBS Boston's Brian Robb will offer his takes as well.   And yes, Ty and Dre go Around the NBA in 5.   Tune in this Saturday, 2 PM ET/11 AM PT, to Celtics Beat. Daughter of Red Auerbach, Randy, to join Boston Celtics Beat   Your browser doesn't support audio. Please download the file: audio/mpeg The best Boston Celtics podcast you'll find anywhere is still going strong.  The team may continue to struggle, although that win over Miami on Wednesday was nice, but Celtics Beat is not.  Celtics Beat is packed once again for 60 minutes with hosts Rich Conte and Larry H. Russell. LHR had a chat with Randy Auerbach earlier, and suffice to say - like her father Red, she's got a few things on her mind and she's not afraid to voice her opinions.  LeBron James? Kobe Bryant? The Los Angeles Lakers? Phil Jackson to the New York Knicks? What are her thoughts on those entities? And how is she handling this Celtics season, and what are her feelings on the future outlook of the franchise? LHR will discuss all of this with Randy. There's more: Jay King of Mass Live will hop on to discuss how the team has been handling all these losses since the calendar flipped to the New Year.  They may be saying all the right things, but ... And it'd be interesting to find out what Rajon Rondo really feels about now as well as his future in Boston. Lastly, Rich and LHR go Around the NBA in 5. Tune in this Saturday at 2 PM ET/11 AM PT to Celtics Beat.  Heard exclusively on CLNS Radio. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/clnsradio/2014/03/22/celtics-beat-w-randy-auerbach-jay-king-32214 Discover Sports Internet Radio with CLNSRadio on BlogTalkRadio
New Orleans Pelicans announcer, David Wesley & Sporting News Sean Deveney to join Boston Celtics Beat   Think there's not plenty to talk about regarding the Boston Celtics? Think again. Rich Conte and Dr. Andre Snellings of Rotowire host an absolute loaded edition of Celtics Beat on The Ides of March. First, they'll speak to David Wesley, currently serving as the New Orleans Pelicans color commentator on FOX Sports New Orleans.  David was a 14 year NBA veteran, and former Celtic.  Rich, Dr. Snellings, and David will discuss the Pelicans and Celtics rebuilding efforts, Anthony Davis' place amongst the NBA's best, his years in Boston and Rick Pitino's decision to not re-sign him, and yes, tanking.  With David being a member of the infamous 1997 Celtics squad, he'd seem to be an expert on the issue. There's more: Sean Deveney, National NBA writer for Sporting News will hop on.  Sean is one of the most plugged-in NBA journalists, particularly with the Celtics.  He'll let the audience know how the Celtics organization feels about this season, where the rebuilding stands, and also Rajon Rondo.  What's his future with the team? Also, Sean recently broke a story regarding Kobe Bryant urging the Lakers to fire coach Mike D'Antoni at seasons end.  Rich, Dre, and Sean will discuss that, Phil Jackson to the New York Knicks, and much more. And yes, Rich and Dre still have time to go Around the NBA in 5!
