ESP #021: Dez Bryant Controversial "Non-Catch" | NFC Championship | Patriots Beat the Colts | Scoring In The Evening

Written by

CLNS Radio Content Manager Sean Bakke joins host Brian Langford and the sports podcast industry will never be the same again! In episode 21 of the re-vamped Evening Score Sports Podcast, Bakke and Langford dive into a variety of topics.

In ESP#021 of The Evening Score Sports Podcast powered by Lynda.com, Langford and Bakke jump into the controversial finish between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, namely the overturned catch by Dez Bryant. Sean has some very strong thoughts on this, but as a Cowboys fan Brian goes on an epic rant about the outcome of this game.

Regardless of Brian's rant, the Packers moved on to the NFC Championship to face the Seattle Seahawks and the Cowboys went home. The Packers however suffered an epic collapse at the end of the game, allowing the Seahawks to come back and head to the Super Bowl to defend their title.

On the AFC side, the Patriots handle the Colts rather easier, but a question has been raised: did the Patriots deflate balls to get a better grip on them in the cold weather? Langford and Bakke address this claim as well as recap the games from Championship weekend.

The Boston Celtics made a few more moves this week but Brian and Sean are sick and tired of Danny Ainge trading for picks. Who is Danny Ainge going to sign or trade for that might help make them a contender again?

In the return of Scoring in the Evening, the love doctor Brian Langford has some more advice for the fellas...next week, ladies you're up!

Brian Langford

A born native of Washington DC. Brian has been podcasting since 2010. He was the founder of the now defunct XSN Radio. Once I fell in love with sports I knew that I had to find a something that was sports-related and that he did. Brian covered Team USA in 2012 while the team was in Washington DC.  The excitement and pleasure that comes along doing radio is networking and hearing different peoples opinions. My dream is to live my life with this feeling and somehow make it in this industry. There is a saying that you have to follow your dreams, I say chase your dreams.
