ESP #013: Marcus Smart Injury | Adrian Peterson & Ray Rice Reinstatement | 49ers Struggles | Scoring in the Evening | NFL Week 10 Picks

Written by

CLNS Radio Content Manager Sean Bakke joins host Brian Langford and the sports podcast industry will never be the same again! In episode 13 of the re-vamped Evening Score Sports Podcast, Bakke and Langford dive into a variety of topics.

In ESP#013 of the re-vamped Evening Score Sports Podcast, Langford and Bakke discuss Boston Celtics rookie Marcus Smart's severe ankle sprain and whether Evan Turner can step his D game up in Smart's absence. Also, the guys discuss the hideousness that is the new Celtics alternate jersey.

Both Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice are attempting to be reinstated into the NFL. Peterson pleaded no contest to child abuse charges and Rice filed an appeal of his suspension through the NFLPA. Both hosts feel very strongly that neither should play again this season.

Rumors are still floating around the San Francisco 49ers and with their struggles, will Jim Harbaugh be the coach next year? Langford wonders who could replace him and Bakke rants about the scarce use of Frank Gore and Vernon Davis.

In a new segment on The Evening Score Sports Podcast, Scoring in the Evening, @BrianAintLyin gives the fellas advice on what to do on a first date. You won't want to miss this!

It's Week ten of the NFL season and time for Brian and Sean to make their picks and continue their weekly segment of spirited debate. Brian continues his undefeated Thursday night streak as he is catching up to Sean in the overall standings.

Brian Langford

A born native of Washington DC. Brian has been podcasting since 2010. He was the founder of the now defunct XSN Radio. Once I fell in love with sports I knew that I had to find a something that was sports-related and that he did. Brian covered Team USA in 2012 while the team was in Washington DC.  The excitement and pleasure that comes along doing radio is networking and hearing different peoples opinions. My dream is to live my life with this feeling and somehow make it in this industry. There is a saying that you have to follow your dreams, I say chase your dreams.
