NFL Network's Ian Rapaport is reporting New England Patriots' wide receiver Danny Amendola could miss between two and six weeks with a groin injury.
Amendola appeared to tweak his groin late in the first half of Sunday's win over the Bills. He left the field for the remainder of the half but returned in the third quarter and was instrumental in the Pat's come-from-behind win, catching seven passes, including four on the game-winning drive that ended in Stephen Gostkowski‘s 35-yard field goal. Amendola finished with 10 catches on 14 targets for 104 yards.
He is listed as inactive for Thursday's game against the Jets. Since the beginning of the 2011 season, he has missed 13 of his team’s last 33 games.
