FOXBOROUGH – New England Patriots left tackle Nate Solder was back at practice Thursday afternoon after he missed Wednesday’s workout following a concussion he suffered in Sunday’s game.

Solder followed the same procedure last week as he suffered a concussion in the team’s 27-26 win over the Cleveland Browns, missed practice on Wednesday, and returned to practice Thursday.  Soldier was the only change from Wednesday to the team’s participation/injury report. Wide receiver Josh Boyce was the only player to miss Thursday’s practice: he left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury. The following is a list of all the players who were limited in practice Thursday.

 Did not participate:

WR Josh Boyce (ankle)

Limited participation:

WR Danny Amendola (groin)

CB Kyle Arrington (groin)

QB Tom Brady (right shoulder)

OL Marcus Cannon (ankle)

CB Alfonzo Dennard (knee/shoulder)

WR Aaron Dobson (foot)

LB Dane Fletcher (groin)

S Steve Gregory (finger)

TE Michael Hoomanawanui (knee)

LB Brandon Spikes (knee)

OL Nate Solder (concussion)

OT Will Svitek (ankle)

CB Aqib Talib (hip)

WR Kenbrell Thompkins (hip)

It is a wonder how the Patriots are still managing to play at an elite level even as their injury report continues to grow. The question remains: When will all these injuries catch up to them? We may have seen an inkling of that on Sunday as the absence of Rob Gronkowski played a big role in the Patriots’24-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Now, they must play their best football of the season down the stretch if they want to ensure the possibility of a deep playoff run.
