According to a report from ESPN.com, one of the accomplices in the case against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez said that he was told that Hernandez killed Odin LIoyd.

Carlos Ortiz told police that Ernest Wallace, a second alleged accomplice told him on the day after the fatal shooting that Hernandez admitted to killing LIoyd. This is according to court documents that were released Tuesday.

Ortiz and Wallace returned to Bristol, Conn. following LIoyd’s shooting near Hernandez’ home. It was there according to court records which were made public in Florida today, that Ortiz told police that Wallace said that Hernandez shot LIoyd.

The documents were made available to justify a search of Wallace’s home, located in Miramar, Fla. Wallace was arrested there 10 days ago.

Today, search warrants for Hernandez’ home were unsealed. Among other things, they showed him slamming the door and locking it when officers told him they were investigating a death.  The documents show Hernandez in his home shortly following the death of Lioyd with a gun in his hands according to the report.

In addition, police also served a warrant for possessions removed from the 23-year-old’s Patriots locker. However, what police are ultimately looking for.  the gun, is still missing.

In what seems to be a very detailed case, more details are coming out by the minute. It will be interesting to see this story continue to unfold.
