Alan Branch has resigned with the New England Patriots on a two year contract.

The New England Patriots have retained one of their most important pieces of the defense. Veteran defensive tackle Alan Branch has reportedly agreed to a two year contract to stay with the Patriots.

Branch has been stellar the past couple of seasons here in New England and even at 32, he impressed Belichick enough to get another contract. He may not be the biggest name, but he is certainly one of the biggest men. At 6’6 and 350 pounds, Branch is a monster among men and is a force in the run game. He was a pivotal part in a defensive scheme that did not allow a single rusher to gain 100 yards all season in 2016.

It is reported that the deal is worth up to 12 million over the course of two years.
