Julian Edelman is Back and Ready to Prove the Patriot Doubters Wrong

JE11 is cleared to play in the Patriots’ first game of the playoffs after sitting out for nearly 2 months.

It has been a long 8 weeks for Brady and Patriot Nation without the go-to receiver on the field. He broke a bone in his foot in week 10 against the New York Giants, and underwent surgery to put a screw in the next day. Three weeks ago, he was cleared to start practicing again and rejoined the team’s physical activities.

He has been recovering and getting back into the groove of things while also trying to temper his impatience and his workhorse personality. He is now ready to unleash all the energy and passion he has been holding back for a long part of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs this Saturday the 16th at 4:35PM.

In order to “prevent flexing and refracturing” he will apparently wear a steel plate in his left cleat. During practice, the team has been trying to make it as difficult as possible, and he is able to cut and sprint on the field well.

JE11 and Tom Brady have reportedly been putting in extra time and working together to make sure they are prepared for the game against the Chiefs, who dealt the Patriots a blowout loss early last season.

Let’s just hope there is minimal physical and mental rust, because the New England offense is markedly better while he is on the field and performing at a top level.
