Aaron Dobson has to take it one step at a time, literally.
During last season the Patriots second-round pick was hampered with a troublesome stress fracture in his foot.
Despite the injury, Dobson ended the year with 37 catches for 519 yards. Four of those catches found the endzone.
After the season was over, Dobson foot was first thought to be able to heal naturally. This was not the case. Opting for surgery in March, Dobson was expected to be back for last months OTAs. Unfortunately, Dobson missed all of last months workouts on the field with the Patriots.
The Patriots had hoped for Dobson to step into a larger role this season, but with no work on the field thus far, that optimism was starting to dwindle.
Nick Underhill, from masslive.com, was the first to report from an unnamed source, that it appears Dobson will be active for this upcoming training camp in two weeks.
It may be to early to make the news a definite yes at this point, but it's an answer to the question on many Patriots fans minds.
