Michael Settipani joined CLNS Radio in July 2015 as a Bruins Beat columnist. Since then, Michael has also joined the Red Sox Beat team, and started the Bruins Beat podcast. In addition, Michael is a sports productions professional, and has held positions at HockeyTech Inc., Entercom Communications and NESN. 

Michael is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where he obtained a B.A. in Communications.

Los Angeles Kings clinched a playoff spot by holding off the Bruins late rally. Bruins once again fall short and end their California trip 0-3.  

Bruins were able to get their home record to .500 at home with a huge victory over the New York Islanders. Bruins have swept the seasons series 3-0 this year with the Islanders.  

In just one week, Bruins forward Zac Rinaldo was placed on waivers and suspended by both the NHL and AHL for 5 games.

Stamkos, Lightning Bolt Past Bruins 4-1.

Special teams was the deciding factor in this game as Bruins were 0-5 on the powerplay. Lightning were 2-3 and scored a penalty shot goal to skate past Boston.  

Patrice Bergeron and Adam McQuaid returned from injury as Bruins continue their great road record. 

Bruins start off their season long road trip with their 2nd Consecutive win in Minnesota.  Minnesota has now lost 8 games in a row.

Bruins Would be Smart to Trade Loui Eriksson

Loui Eriksson is having arguably his best year in a Bruins uniform. With the trade deadline just over a month away, Eriksson’s play has put the team in a bind.  

Ryan Spooner and Jonas Gustavvson helped lead the Bruins to a 4-1 win against the Sabres in Buffalo. 

The Bruins became the 2nd team in NHL history to notch win 3,000. This win helped kick off the Bruins road trip the right way. 

Spooner scored the only goal for the Bruins who are now 11-1-3 in their past 15 games. This game pushed the Bruins closer to their hated rival Montreal for 1st in the Atlantic Division.
