Red Sox Announce Roster Moves

Less than 24 hours after the World Series concluded, the Boston Red Sox announced some roster and front office moves.

The Boston Bruins went .500 through their last six games and dealt with the injury bug and a suspension. The team started goalies Malcom Subban and Zane McIntyre over the last six games before Tuukka Rask took his spot back in net against the Detroit Red Wings. They also halted their three-game skid while ending the Red Wings six-game win streak.

Even though they won’t be hoisting the World Series trophy this year, some Red Sox players may still be taking home some hardware.

After a 5-0 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, the Bruins looked to get back in the win column against Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers behind Zane McIntyre.

The 2016-17 season got underway last week with the Boston Bruins opening up their season against the Columbus Blue Jackets. They had a short week, with just two games on the road. The week included one line scoring all six goals in one game and starting goalie Tuukka Rask missing the second game of the season.
