Lars Gjesteby is a writer/reporter for the Boston Red Sox Beat Team of CLNS Radio.

He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD. Lars works to improve hardware and software for medical imaging systems, including x-ray CT and MRI.

The Boston Red Sox were held scoreless by Luis Severino for seven innings tonight and Aaron Judge launched a two-run homer for the New York Yankees.

The Boston Red Sox offense came alive with three home runs and Eduardo Rodriguez hurled six shutout innings in a 6-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday afternoon. Boston improves to 11-8 on the year.
