After another masterful outing from Chris Sale, the Red Sox look to use that momentum to take the series from the division rival Tampa Bay Rays as Drew Pomeranz takes the hill for the scheduled 1:35 start
Chris Sale posted 12 strikeouts and the Boston Red Sox bats powered past the Tampa Bay Rays for a 6-3 win on Saturday afternoon. Deven Marrero and Mookie Betts combined for 5 RBI.
The Red Sox will look to Chris Sale to get them back to their winning ways on Saturday. Sale will face Blake Snell in a battle of lefties. There are also updates for Pablo Sandoval, Tyler Thornburg and Brock Holt.

So far this season, the Boston Red Sox have not been able to hit their stride or gain any kind of momentum. They are painfully and frustratingly inconsistent from night to night and they just can’t seem to string wins together. Meanwhile, their two biggest rivals, the Baltimore Orioles and…
Despite the offensive efforts of Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi, the Sox' pitching staff got rocked in Boston's 11-7 loss to the Brewers on Tuesday night.  Drew Pomeranz gave up five runs in the first inning and six runs total in four innings in the loss, while the bullpen could…
The Red Sox will face off against Travis Shaw and the Milwaukee Brewers for the first of three in Milwaukee.
My name is Jake Archer and I am the newest member of the CLNS Media Red Sox Beat Team. Before I dive in and start writing and recording, I wanted to just put out a quick post to introduce myself and give everyone a heads up. I’m a big time…

Nick Quaglia, Lauren Campbell, Adam Belue and Ethan Winter sit down to discuss the new lineup Sox skipper John Farrell put in place over the last two games and talk about David Price inching closer to a return
The Boston Red Sox offense busted out for six runs off of Ervin Santana, then broke open a one-run game with a ten-run ninth inning in their 17-6 win on Sunday afternoon.  Chris Sale earned his third win of the season in what looked like a great pitching duel of…
