Pregame Notes 9/13/17: The Red Sox Look to Doug Fister in Game 2 Against the Oakland A's

Written by

The Boston Red Sox hope to carry the momentum from last night's dominating 11-1 victory over the Oakland A's into tonight's contest, the second game of this three-game set with the Athletics. In first place and 20 games over 500 at 82-62, the Sox enjoy a 3.5 game lead over the second place New York Yankees.

Joe Danker

My name is Joe Danker. I'm a lifelong New England sports fan who loves nothing more than writing, talking, laughing, and crying about Boston sports. I grew up outside Boston and have lived and breathed Boston sports since before I can remember being able to think.

I currently work part-time in the Sports department at the Metrowest Daily News where I cover local high school sports. Twelve months ago I started my own Boston sports blog called Title Town on the sportsblog.com network. You may have heard of it (not likely). I moved on to publishing Title Town on the OverTime.news sports network, where I also regularly hosted the popular podcast, Sports Roundup.

And now I'm beyond excited to be a part of the CLNS team!

Boston sports is life.
