Pregame Notes 9/6/17: The Boston Red Sox Look to Doug Fister for the Rubber Game with Toronto

Written by

Try to forgive the Boston Red Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays if they look a little tired tonight. After last night's 19 inning marathon, won when Mookie Betts raced home on a Hanley Ramirez clutch single, there have to be at least a few weary souls on either bench. But the Sox get the boost from the win and they will try to carry that momentum into tonight's tilt.

Joe Danker

My name is Joe Danker. I'm a lifelong New England sports fan who loves nothing more than writing, talking, laughing, and crying about Boston sports. I grew up outside Boston and have lived and breathed Boston sports since before I can remember being able to think.

I currently work part-time in the Sports department at the Metrowest Daily News where I cover local high school sports. Twelve months ago I started my own Boston sports blog called Title Town on the sportsblog.com network. You may have heard of it (not likely). I moved on to publishing Title Town on the OverTime.news sports network, where I also regularly hosted the popular podcast, Sports Roundup.

And now I'm beyond excited to be a part of the CLNS team!

Boston sports is life.
