Red Sox head to Toronto on high note

Written by

With a strong series in New York, the Boston Red Sox head to Toronto with a 2-1 record and with the return of John Farrell, this will certainly be an interesting series for both teams.

The most interesting stat for the Red Sox heading into this series is that the team hasn't hit a home run so far in the first three games of the season. They were only one of four MLB teams not to do so. It will interesting to see how that will change when the team invades Rogers Centre.

Pitching Matchups:

Friday April 5th: Felix Doubront (0-0) vs. Josh Johnson (0-0) 7:07 pm

Saturday April 6th: John Lackey (0-0) vs. J.A. Happ (0-0) 1:07 pm

Sunday April 7th: Jon Lester(1-0) vs. R.A. Dickey (0-1) 1:07 pm

Notes: Expect some of the bench players including Mike Carp and Pedro Ciriaco to get some at bats this weekend since they haven't seen any action so far this season. Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista could miss some time this series with a minor ankle injury.

Prediction: Red Sox take two out three from Blue Jays
