Pawtucket Red Sox Lineup and Game Notes 8/15

Winners of their last four games, the Pawtucket Red Sox come into Thursday night's game vs. the Louisville Bats riding high by leading the International League wildcard standings by a half a game over the Norfolk Tides.

Anthony Ranaudo makes his third Triple-A start for the Pawsox and has been solid so far despite struggling last time out in Syracuse allowing five runs in five innings.

Catcher David Ross, who is on a rehab with Pawtucket, said to the Pawsox media that he expects to be activated for the Red Sox west coast trip in San Francisco starting next Monday night. Ross will be revaluated by the medical staff towards the end of the weekend before a final decision is made. 

Pawsox manager Gary DiSarcina said Xander Bogaerts is expected play mostly shortstop going forward and will play some third base from time to time now with Will Middlebrooks back up with Boston.
