Red Sox accomplish impressive milestones during weekend series vs. Astros

So far in their series with the Houston Astros, the Boston Red Sox have accomplished some impressive milestones. Here are some milestones met this weekend  Red Sox set the a club record for being in 1st place  to begin a season for 27 straight days breaking the previous mark of 25 straight days in 1918. On Friday night, Boston faced Astros starter Erik Bedard for the first time since June, 8, 2008 when he was a member of the Baltimore Orioles. The Red Sox beat Bedard for the first time on Friday since September 29, 2006. Jacoby Ellsbury became just the third Red Sox player in team history to record at least 200 stolen bases in his Sox career joining Harry Hopper (300) and Tris Speaker (267).
