Avery Bradley: 'I'd Like to Remain a Celtic'

Written by

The Boston Celtics have a ton of directions to decide on this upcoming offseason -- one being Avery Bradley.

Bradley, who has been sidelined due to a nagging right ankle injury, will be a restricted free agent and wants to retain his duty as shooting guard with the green and white, according to his diary from ESPN Boston's Louise K. Cornetta.

"I'll be a restricted free agent this summer," Bradley told Cornetta. "I honestly don't know what that experience is going to be like. Obviously I know different teams can be involved and the Celtics can match whatever happens. I've decided not to worry about it until the time comes. Of course I'd like to remain a Celtic. I love the culture here and the people here. I love the whole front office as far as Danny Ainge and everybody. They're just great people."

Bradley, if the price is right, may stay with the Celtics. But as he states, some teams could be in the mix, which could scare Ainge and company away if the price is too high due to his right ankle injuries.

The 23-year-old defensive specialist has been a bright spot recording 14.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steal per game in 55 games this season.
