Brad Stevens could have a reunion with his former player, if the price is right.
Gordon Hayward, a former Butler Bulldog, has intrigued the Boston Celtics as the trade deadline nears, according to a source who told CSNNE.com.
Hayward will become a free agent this summer. but it seems like he could be on his way out the door. The 23-year-old guard has just touched the surface in his third NBA season.
The Celtics would have to look how cheap the Jazz would go. Boston has multiple assets to trade, so a package around Jeff Green/Avery Bradley and Kris Humphries/ Brandon Bass could come to form.
Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has visioned Hayward in green in the past, so this interest should not come as a surprise.
