The Boston Celtics will head to Portland to face the Trail Blazers in the last game of Boston's grueling five-game west coast trip. Boston has dropped seven consecutive games, most recently last night against the Golden State Warriors. Portland is rested, coming off a win Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic.

Boston Celtics:

PG: Jordan Crawford SG: Avery Bradley SF: Jeff Green PF: Brandon Bass C: Jared Sullinger

Portland Trail Blazers:

PG: Damian Lillard SG: Wesley Matthews SF: Nicolas Batum PF: LaMarcus Aldridge C: Robin Lopez

Rajon Rondo, OUT (Knee)

Beyond the Arc. The Celtics have to pay close attention to defending the three-point line tonight. 28.3 percent of Portland's points are results of shots from beyond the arc, which is the most in the NBA. Good, Better, Best? The Celtics have gotten progressively closer to winning in their last two games. Maybe the Celtics will not only keep up, but close the door on the Trailblazers tonight?

Back-to-Back. The Celtics generally don't fare well in the second night of back to back games. Boston Off Rtg: 101.7 (24th) Def Rtg: 105.5 (15th) Pace: 93.5 (17th) Portland Off Rtg: 113.7 (1st) Def Rtg: 107.3 (21th) Pace: 95.1 (10th)

Portland should win tonight; all the stats fall in their favor. I'm taking Boston to win tonight (by a small margin) though. They have shown resilience in their last two games against top Western Conference teams and I think that toughness will pay off tonight.

Boston Celtics 108 Portland Trail Blazers 105
