The Celtics enter tonight's game losers of 4 straight and 7 of their last 8 overall, most recently a 119-96 defeat in Oklahoma City on Sunday.  Denver is coming off a 137-115 rout of the Lakers, also on Sunday.  In the two team's only other scheduled meeting of the season Boston won 106-98 at the Garden on December 6th.

Boston Celtics:

PG: Jordan Crawford

SG: Avery Bradley

SF: Jeff Green

PF: Jared Sullinger

C: Brandon Bass

Denver Nuggets:

PG: Ty Lawson

SG: Randy Foye

SF: Wilson Chandler

PF: Kenneth Faried

C: J.J. Hickson

Rajon Rondo, OUT (Knee)

Danilo Gallinari, OUT (Leg)

JaVale McGee, OUT (Leg)

Jerryd Bayless' debut: The Celtics newest player is active and ready to go, and oddly enough he'll be wearing Courtney Lee's old number, 11. Boston's best chance for a win on this west coast swing: Things don't get any easier after tonight for the C's, who travel to L.A. to face the Clippers on Wednesday, then play back to back at Golden State and Portland on Saturday and Sunday. Nuggets hot offense: In their modest two game winning streak Denver has scored a total of 248 points, while shooting 53.6% from the field.

On Sunday the Celtics allowed a season high 119 points vs. the Thunder, while the Nuggets scored a season high 137 themselves vs. the Lakers. Boston has yet to win a road game this year against a Western Conference team (0-5).

With the Celtics in a free fall and no end in sight, I'd like to think they can rally and find a way to grab a win tonight in Denver.  Unfortunately I just don't see it happening.

Denver Nuggets 107, Boston Celtics 96
