Rajon Rondo Reluctant on January Return, February Arrival More Realistic

Written by

Does anyone have a headache yet? It seems like this ongoing saga on Rajon Rondo's return continues to gain legs, but his statement on Sunday clears the air.

Rondo, who has been undecided on return date, is not eyeing a return until February, who told reporters after the 106-79 defeat against the Indiana Pacers Sunday night.

"It might be mid-Janury, late February," Rondo said. "I'm going to come back when I get my stamina,"

Subsequently, the main reason why Rondo is mysterious on playing for the first time since last season is due to his inconsistent stamina in practices and scrimmages, not his ACL rehab.

His return will put numerous smiles on Celtics fans' faces. But for now, they will have to wait until their point guard is ready.
