Jordan Crawford continues taunting Carmelo Anthony, clearly not a representation of the Boston Celtics!

Written by

I've found myself questioning why Danny Ainge would bring Jordan Crawford to Boston. The Boston Celtics are a franchise that prides themselves on great players who take responsibility for their actions both on, and off the court.

As the Celtics made a decision to stay away from the pompous taunting tirades of their immature opponents, the seldom used Jordan Crawford shows his immaturity and lack of discipline while contradicting what his teammates are not saying and not doing.

Though Jason Terry had an appropriate response to J.R. Smith's proclamation that he has never heard of The Jet, that is about as far as his veteran teammates have gone in responding to the childish Knicks trash talking. Taking the stance of, shutting up off the court and putting up on the hardwood. That is, except the seldom used Jordan Crawford. Why? Maybe because he can't 'put anything up' on the court because he doesn't play. Possibly because he is a complete head case with no remorse or thought put into his performances on the court or comments off the court. Maybe because he's not capable of understanding what it means to have the word Celtics across his chest. Maybe just because he does not put too much thought into anything that doesn't bring attention to him.

Any of those reasons can be a suitable explanation as to why Crawford would put a damper on the Celtics classy way of reacting to the immaturity coming out of Madison Square Garden from their home-town Knicks.

Furthering Crawford's immaturity and impulsive nature, the Celtics backup shooting guard continued spewing idiocy following game 5...

“Nah, they was talking to me, baby," Crawford told the Boston Globe. "They was talking to me. Yeah, they like me. I think it’s that smile I keep carrying. I think we’re playing freely, not thinking as much.”

Hey Jordan, I think you are never thinking that much and your play, and actions/words of the court prove it. Crawford continued his bantering on Twitter and, this time, made Carmelo Anthony's now infamous wife the target. 'Melo's wife put Jordan in his place by tweeting to Jordan,  lala Try again. You on the bench for a reason.

LaLa is correct here. Jordan is on the bench and Jordan should shut up.

Why in the name of the Basketball Gods would Jordan Crawford taunt Carmelo Anthony (or his wife) on the eve of another elimination game for his Celtic teammates? The worst thing for any team competing against the Knicks would be to taunt Carmelo Anthony, clearly the best player on the floor.

I highly doubt that the Knicks that wore their black threads to game 5 will be entering TD Garden, pretending it's a funeral home tonight.

My grandfather used to say, screw 'em all but 6 - he was referring to the 6 pallbearers that will carry your casket on the day of reckoning. FIVE NY Knicks wore their funeral dubs to game 5. So... where's the 6th pall bearer if the C's are to lose tonight? Let's donate a black tuxedo to Jordan Crawford to be the 6th pallbearer for New York if the C's are to lose tonight.

After the funeral, the Knicks can keep Jordan Crawford because this Celtics fan has seen quite enough of him.

SIDE NOTES: If you've not seen enough of Jordan already, check out this locker room video of how he reacts to questions by the Boston media. He doesn't understand the question. What do you understand Jordan? Go back to Washington, maybe you will understand when no media covers your team because nobody cares. In Boston, we care about our team, our players and our reputation. Any one who does not understand that, does not belong in our locker room. Good bye Jordan.

Reporter:  What have you learned since being in Boston?

Jordan Crawford: Nothin'

Me: That's clear Jordan, you've learned 'nothin' and that's why you belong on another team where, "learnin' nothin' is acceptable
