According to Chris Forsberg of ESPNBoston.com, and in a move that should surprise no one, the Boston Celtics have announced that both Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett will be unavailable for the game tomorrow night down in Miami.
The official word is that both have sore ankles, and although they have made the road trip with the team, neither will dress. This is not unexpected as the team has already clinched a playoff spot and with only four games left until a tough opening series upcoming, likely against the New York Knicks, coach Doc Rivers is choosing to rest bodies.
Forsberg also reported in the piece that Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade will play after missing the last six games. There is no word yet whether or not LeBron James and Chris Bosh will play after both sat during last night's game.
