Written by

The official NBA schedule has been released, and there is a stark difference between the Big Three Era Celtics, and the Celtics that currently call Boston home right now; National TV games.

A visit from the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 14 is scheduled to be the Celtics only national tv game, a Wednesday night tilt on ESPN. Between 2008 and 2013, Boston averaged a hair more than 22 national games per season.

Brad Stevens' second year as head coach will kick off against Brooklyn on Wednesday, Oct. 29, another return for former friend Kevin Garnett. This will be Boston's first home opener since 2010.

Cleveland will visit the Garden Nov. 14 and April 12, marking the first time Kevin Love visits since his summer trip through the streets of Boston.
