Kelly Olynyk Confirms Wrist Injury

Written by

After a fan report stating that Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk had injured his wrist playing for Team Canada, it is confirmed that Olynyk did hurt himself, but it is not bad.

ESPN Boston's Chris Forsberg, Olynyk has confirmed on Tuesday that he is injured his wrist.

Olynyk reportedly made a little joke about things being blown out of proportion in Boston:

It'll be alright. It's not career-ending.   -Kelly Olynyk

Olynyk returned from Canada a few days before his team to rest his wrist.

He is a busy man though, as he went to Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH with Steve Pagliuca and a group of 30 kids through the Celtics Shamrock Foundation.

It looked to be a scare initially, but it looks like the 23-year old Olynyk will be just fine and should be ready for training camp in early September.
