Bruins had to no time to let previous night’s loss settle in as they got right back to work the next night. Bruins were able to get another two points against the Kings for their fifth win in six games.
Wasted opportunities.  Allowing late goals.  Brutal calls against them.  Leaving points on the board. Welcome back to the 2016-17 season for the Boston Bruins.
The Bruins came off their bye week to play the Sharks for the second time in four games in San Jose to start their road trip. The Bruins were able to start the road trip off in dramatic fashion in the nightcap of “Hockey Day in America.”
The Boston Bruins-Montreal Canadiens rivalry just got a lot more interesting and intriguing.
Maybe all the Boston Bruins needed to turn their season around was a coaching change after all.
The Boston Bruins won their second straight home game after firing head coach Claude Julien. Anton Khudobin got his second win of the year and the second of any backup goalie from the Bruins this season. Frank Vatrano lead the way offensively with three points.
After the Boston Bruins fired head coach Claude Julien on Tuesday morning, some players noted that it was up to them to turn their season around.   And while one win isn’t considered a turnaround, it was a good start, especially against a quality opponent.

Saturday night’s game between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs had a playoff feel to it. But if the B’s continue to squander chances to pick up points in games like tonight’s, this will be the closest thing they get to the actual postseason this year.

Should Brandon Carlo Sit Out A Few Games?

Following a great start to his rookie campaign in the NHL, Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo has recently run into some struggles on the ice. 
The Boston Bruins struggles in Washington continue as they proved to be too much for the Bruins to handle. The Bruins win streak was snapped and Tuukka Rask allowed 5 goals on 22 shots in defeat. Brad Marchand remains red hot on the offensive side for the Bruins.
The Boston Bruins (25-21-6) traveled to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning (22-22-6) in their first game back on the ice since the All Star break. 
After 52 games, the Boston Bruins are still searching for an identity.
Facing a two-goal deficit against the defending champs, the Boston Bruins did something unpredictable on Thursday night.
The Boston Bruins got off the snide as they took care of business at home against Detroit. Ths ended Bruns losing streak and was just the second time that the Bruins won a game after trailing in the third period.
Just when we thought it was impossible, the Boston Bruins found yet another way to lose a hockey game.

Claude Julien may not be the biggest problem the Boston Bruins have this year, but he is definitely in the top three.
The Boston Bruins blew a three-goal lead to the Detroit Red Wings, losing their third out of their last four games.
Just 48 hours after one of their best performances of the season, the Boston Bruins proved why they are maddening to watch this year by producing one of their worst games on Monday afternoon.
Boston's All-Star forward tallied his second five-point game of the season to lead the B's to a solid home victory.
