The Bruins have now won two in a row to keep peace in a tight Eastern Conference playoff race. Tuukka Rask returned in net after missing last Saturday’s game against the Islanders. Rask made 24 of 25 saves in the win as Bruins used four different goal scorers.
In the biggest game of the regular season, two unlikely heroes emerged to give the Boston Bruins the two points that they desperately needed.
Just when it looked like their postseason drought would be snapped this season, the Big Bad Bruins have reverted back to just plain bad.

After the Boston Bruins fired head coach Claude Julien on Tuesday morning, some players noted that it was up to them to turn their season around.   And while one win isn’t considered a turnaround, it was a good start, especially against a quality opponent.
