The Boston Bruins continue to struggle against teams that are in the bottom of the standings as their short two game winning streak comes to an end. Cory Schneider and the Devils were able to shut down the Bruins offensive attack for the shutout.
Fans of the Boston Bruins hope that the new year brings more of what New Year’s Eve did – a quality team effort and a home win – which has been all too rare in 2016.
The Boston Bruins (18-15-4) traveled to Bufaflo to take on the Sabres (13-13-8) in hopes to stop their two-game losing streak.

The Boston Bruins have now lost eight of their last 11 games as their comeback attempt was thwarted by the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Bruins could not end the Blue Jackets win streak, which is now 13.

Bruins Blow Two Goal Lead in 3-2 Loss to Hurricanes

The B's could not hold an early two-goal lead and earned their seventh loss in their last ten games on Friday night.
The Boston Bruins have now fallen to under .500 at home this season with an 8-9 record at TD Garden. Tuukka Rask was pulled in the second and the top guys were a non factor again as the Islanders come into Boston and end their five game losing streak.

Recent history has shown that having a well-rested goaltender at the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is key if you want to make a deep run. 
The Boston Bruins (16-12-3) were looking to get back in the win column at home against the Anaheim Ducks (15-10-5).
The Boston Bruins (16-12-2) looked to snap the six-game winning streak of the Pittsburgh Penguins (19-7-3).
It’s been hard enough for the Boston Bruins to defeat the Montreal Canadiens once this season.  On Monday night, the B’s had to beat their rivals twice to earn a much-needed two points.
The Boston Bruins’ rollercoaster season is back on the decline, as the B’s dropped their third straight contest on Saturday evening.
The Boston Bruins lose their second game in consecutive nights after the Avalanche come to town and beat the Bruins. The Avalanche had three unassisted goal propelling them to victory. Bruins tried to make the come back, but ended up falling short.
Tuukka Rask’s struggles against the Washington Capitals continued on Wednesday night, as his Bruins fought back from a 3-0 deficit to force overtime before succumbing 4-3 at Verizon Center.
Coming into the 2016-17 season, all eyes were on David Pastrnak to take the next step in his young career. A third of the way into the year, it looks like Pastrnak skipped a few steps and is one his way to becoming a full-blown star.
The Boston Bruins win their second straight game as they hold off Buffalo. Bruins received goals from Bergeron and Krejci. Tuukka Rask made 35 saves and continues to keep Bruins in every game.
The Boston Bruins (12-10-1) welcomed the Carolina Hurricanes (9-9-4) to the TD Garden ice on Thursday in hopes to get back in the win column.

It's almost December, which means we are just about at the quarter mark of the hockey season. Let's take a look at how some of the Boston Bruins prospects are doing in their respective leagues. 
Trailing 2-0 entering the third period, the Boston Bruins played inspired hockey to earn a point. After a nine-round shootout that saw several spectacular saves on both ends, the B’s could not steal the other point from the Philadelphia Flyers.
