Boston Bruins Video: Lucic Gets Goal and Stitches, Tuukka Rask Remains Calm after 4-1 Game 2 Win over Detroit Red Wings

BOSTON – Milan Lucic scored his first goal of the 2014 NHL playoffs Sunday, but that wasn't the only thing he came away with. After crashing into the boards before his goal, he sliced his foot with his skates, resulting in some fresh stitches to take with him to Detroit. He talked about the injury and the Bruins' dominant penalty kill after the game.

 

 

 

 

Tuukka Rask talked about being calm and collected regardless of the score. He gave up one goal again, but with substantially less pressure as his team got out to an early lead.

Jerome Iginla also recorded two points Sunday and was one of the keys of the Bruins' early onslaught.

Coach Claude Julien looked ahead to Game 3 and credited his team's great performance on the penalty kill.

Reilly Smith got his first career postsason goal and point today on a rebound put past Howard.

Justin Florek also got his first carer postseason goal and point. He talked about finally getting that goal after the win.

Kevan Miller return to the ice after a serious virus put him in the hospital. He said it wasn't until Friday that he could function "like a human being again."
