Well if you're a Bruins fans you have to feel extremely happy for winger Brad Marchand, who net two goals to guide the Bruins past the Kings Monday afternoon.
Chad Johnson, for the Boston Bruins, had a pretty good game in net considering his opponent. Chad stopped 21 of his 23 shots he was faced with which game out to be a very nice save percentage of .913%. Johnson has now won back-to-back games he has started.
The scoring in this game started relatively early with about 12:07 left in the first is when Brad Marchand netted a short-handed goal from Patrice Bergeron. Roughly five minutes later Torey Krug net his defenseman league-leading 11th goal off a feed from Krejci and Spooner.
The Kings were able to get on the score sheet with 4:09 left in the second via the stick of Willie Mitchell. The Kings ended up tying the game in the third at 2-2 with a goal from Jeff Carter on the power play.
But 20 seconds after Carter netted home his 19th goal to even the game, Brad Marchard netted his 16th of the year to give the Bruins the 3-2 lead.
Jonathan Quick wasn't too shabby for the Kings stopping 20 of 23 shots but he stopped one too-less as the B's squeaked one out.
It must have been nice for the Bruins to finally get to the Kings as LA up-ended them 4-2 on Jan. 9th in LA.
