Boston Bruins Carl Soderberg cleared to play

Written by

Through the first seven games of the season, head coach Claude Julien has had twelve available forwards. Going into tonight’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the team will have thirteen available forwards. Carl Soderberg has been cleared to play, making the decision for Coach Julien a more difficult task.

Julien told reporters at the pre-game skate this morning, “I haven’t told anybody anything just yet. That’s why they don’t know, and I haven’t made that decision yet.” Soderberg last played on September 27th, where he suffered the ankle injury. “It’s pretty obvious that it’s not an easy decision, but again, these are the decisions that I have to make before the game,” Julien stated.

The B’s head into tonight’s game with a 4-2 record, and coming off a 3-2 win against former Bruin goaltender, Tim Thomas, and look to build off that momentum against the Lightning. The game will start at 7:00pm eastern time, and can be seen on NESN.
