The Bruins open up the season with the Tampa Bay Lightning coming to visit the Garden, which we know will be rocking that night.

October 30th will be the first interesting game of the year, as the Bruins go to Pittsburgh to face-off against the Penguins. Everybody knows that the Pens will be looking to get some revenge against the Bruins because of how well the B’s handled them in the playoffs this past year.

On November 5th , Tyler Seguin and his new squad pay a visit to Boston, which will be such an intriguing match-up. How will he handle playing against his former team, and how will Eriksson fair against his former squad? Most fans should be looking forward to this match-up.

On Saturday November 9th, the Maple Leafs comes to visit the Garden. Will such a colossal collapse (much like the Bruins in the finals against the Hawks) in game seven, tempers will probably flare that night as these two face-off against one another.

On Monday November 18th, the Bruins go to Carolina to potentially square off against their former back-up goaltender Anton Khudobin. It wasn’t made into a big deal when he decided to take his talents to the Canes, but for the B’s it puts a huge void into their roster.

On December 5th the rivalry will be renewed, as the Bruins take a trip to Canada to face-off against the Canadians. Every time these two teams play against each other, it gets very physical which makes for a good watch.

Andrew Ference and the Edmonton Oilers will face the B’s on December 12th, which will be a sad game for most, as Ference was a fan favorite during his tenure in Boston.

On Sunday January 19th the matchup that world is patiently waiting for will finally happen. The Bruins will take a trip to Chicago to take on the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The energy in the building will be electric throughout most of the game, and fans should expect a physical, low scoring contest.
