Penguins/Bruins game moved to Saturday due to Marathon bomber situation

Written by

With the Boston Marathon bomber still  on the loose in the Boston area, the Bruins have postponed their game tonight vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins at the TD Garden. It has been tentatively been changed to Saturday at 12:30 pm.

According to Joe Haggerty from CSNNE.com, if the Boston Marathon suspects are still on the loose tomorrow, it's doubtful the game will be played. Final word on whether the game will be played tomorrow should come by 8:30 pm on Saturday according to Haggerty.

It has already been a tough week for the Bruins as they have already had their Monday night home matchup with the Ottawa Senators postponed due to the Boston Marathon day bombing and that game has been rescheduled for Sunday April 28th at TD Garden at 7:30 pm.
