A. Sherrod Blakely of Comcast Sports Net New England is reporting that Boston Celtics center Jermaine O’Neal is questionable for Thursday’s rematch with the Orlando Magic. O’Neal didn’t show any sign of being injured when he went to the bench with six fouls in Tuesday’s game against Orlando.
As we all know, though, O’Neal has had problems with knee injuries and has been wearing a knee brace during games.
If O’Neal isn’t able to go, it will be interesting to see if Doc Rivers goes with a smaller lineup of Garnett/Bass, or if he decides to give Greg Steimsma the start at the center position.
